Thank you for giving to the Macular Society in memory of someone special. There are many ways to donate, so please choose the one that suits you. If you need assistance, or can’t find what you’re looking for, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Giving online

Donate in memory

Give a single donation or set up a regular direct debit in memory of your loved one.

Add a message and photo to our Memory Garden

Donate, and post a photo and message for others to read, in our Memory Garden.

Add your gift to a tribute page

If the person you’re remembering has a tribute page, you may wish to share your memories of them and make a donation there. Alternatively, you can create your own page.

Giving by post

You can also send us your donation by post. Your cheque should be made payable to Macular Society and sent to:

In Memory Team
Macular Society
PO Box 1870
Andover SP10 9AD

Please tell us the full name of the person you are remembering, your relationship to them and supply their address if possible. This will help us to add your gift to any others given, and to keep an accurate record of donations for you or the person’s family. For security reasons, please do not send cash by post.

If you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim an extra 25p on every £1 you give at no extra cost to you, if you complete and return the Gift Aid Declaration form below with your gift.  Please note we cannot claim Gift Aid on money that you’ve collected from other people, unless each individual donor has completed their own Gift Aid form.

Giving by phone

You can make a donation in memory using a debit or credit card by calling us on 01264 350 551 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Giving in your Will to honour a loved one

You may wish to include a gift in your Will for the Macular Society, in memory of a loved one who lived with macular disease. In doing so, you’ll be helping their legacy live on, to benefit families living with sight loss many years from now. Our Remembering Someone special page explains more.

Any questions?

If you have any questions or want to talk to us about your gift, please call Corinne, Jackie or Debbie on 01264 322 410, or email inmemory@macularsociety.org

Remembering someone special

The gift in your Will may be extra special if given in memory of a loved one who had age-related macular degeneration, helping their legacy live on to benefit families like yours in the future.
