Macular Society Annual General Meeting (AGM) – 20 January 2026
The Macular Society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place online on Tuesday 20 January 2026 at 6pm. The AGM is your chance as a member to hear how the Society is run, vote on the resolutions and ask questions. We hope you will join us.

Who can attend:
- Full paying members: can take part, ask questions and vote
- Six-month free members: can join and listen but cannot vote or ask questions
Register for the AGM
To join the meeting you must register in advance. You can register at any time from 8 December up to 5pm on 19 January 2026. You can also submit questions or propose matters for discussion at the AGM using the registration form.
How to join the AGM on the day
To participate on Tuesday 20 January, please return to this page (macularsociety.org/agm) just before 6pm and click ‘Join AGM’.
If you are using a smartphone or tablet, please download the Zoom app in advance.
If you are joining on a PC or laptop, you can take part without downloading any software.
A camera and microphone are not required to participate.
Please remember:
Only full paying members can vote or ask questions.
Six-month free members can attend and listen only.

Proxy voting
All paid up members of the Society are entitled to take part virtually and vote at the Annual General Meeting or may appoint the Chair or other proxy to vote, in a poll, on their behalf. A proxy need not be a member of the Society.
