Our shared commitment
Work with us
Lived Experience Leadership and Employment
In April 2022 we joined with another seven leading sight loss organisations to make a public commitment to increasing the number of blind and partially sighted people employed within our sector, including at senior management level. We are making this commitment in recognition of both the special value brought to our workforce by people with lived experience of sight loss, and the fact that the numbers employed within our sector are lower than might be expected.
