The Macular Society is committed to safeguarding in line with national legislation and relevant national and local guidelines and best practice. The safeguarding policies and procedures are reviewed on a yearly basis and whenever there are changes in relevant legislation and/or government guidance as required by the Local Safeguarding Board, or as a result of any other significant change or event.

Why we need you
The Macular Society is the UK’s leading charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world-class research, and the best advice and support. We need to reach the thousands of people living with macular disease and sight loss, and we need your help to do this. We provide life-changing support, offer advice, information and guidance to people with macular disease and their family and friends.
